Looks like the long in development ( but short in details) Hip Hop Hall of Fame may be coming soon than later.

The Wall Street Journal (http://on.wsj.com/JC6M9y) says the plans also include a restaurant, arcade, concert lounge, television studios, marquee, community and corporate rooms, and a gift shop.

  1. I’ve been looking forward to this thing coming to fruition for a long time. It’s long overdue. For years I’ve watched the media and advertising executives pick and choose whom they thought best represented Hip Hop and with the Hall of Fame there can be no denying how it all came about and who deserves kudos for their contributions. From the often forgotten about mega stars such as The Fearless Four, The Treacherous Three, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Whodini, and KrsOne to the best breakdancers in the world to Sonic and Iz the wiz, to Davy DMX to Malcolm McLaren, the industry has forgotten how it all began.
