Incredible first album by the future masters. Less known than 2nd album kings of rock, this first LP offers great flow and cuts by Run, DMC and Jam Master Jay. Except Rock Box with lots of metal guitars, tracks are very basic powerful lines, in the minimal true old school rap. The flow never stops, never stops, never stops. Great stories, great feeling, sometimes groovy, sometimes more hardcore, this album is a transition masterpiece between old school hip hop and old school rap. It explains the basic, raw power of the rap keeping the street sound, just making it a little harder. Buy this one. Begin by the beginning. Submitted by romain
