They never really were a major group, but Lisa Lee, Debbie Dee, and Sha-Rock (formerly of the Funky Four + 1) did perform in the film Beat Street.
The trio did record a single titled “The New York City Breakers” along with New York City Breakers manager, Michael Holman on a Breakdance compilation album in 1984.

Regarding our discography, this Breakdance album went GOLD! In addition, the Us Girls was the first female group to be featured in a movie (Beat Street) and our single, Us Girls Can Boogie Too was also featured on the Beat Street Soundtrack. As for being major, we are, as individuals, 3 of the first female mcs in the origin of hip hop culture, that’s not just major, its history!
