In 1985, hip hop was moving at light speed. Jams were coming out and soon after they became classics.
Two of these records were “The Show” and “La-Di-Da-Di”. I cannot overstate how popular these two records were.
Doug E Fresh with his beat boxing ability and Ricky D with his unmatched story telling rhymes.
Suddenly hip hop disaster struck. At the height of their careers they parted ways, leaving behind a stunned hip hop community.
In early 1986, Doug resurfaced with this first solo LP. It took some getting used to, but the LP is good for a first attempt and proved that Doug could continue on as a successful solo artist. Submitted by DJGLI67
